The Last Few Days

Monday and Tuesday came and went.  We painted a little on Monday morning, and then we did a little shopping at a craft market in Kampala before joing the Masiko's for dinner at their home.  We had run out of paint on Monday, so we were not able to get too much done.  The rest of the paint arrived around 11 am on Tuesday, and we went straight to work.  We finished the second coat in House 4.  We stopped painting around 4:30 pm, and we headed up to the church.  We had planned three separate gatherings, one for the women, one for the men, and one for the youth.  The team split up and ministered in each group however the Lord led.  All three of the fellowships went very well.  We felt that the people opend up to us and that lives were touched.  God is so good.  He is faithful to work, even when we feel we have nothing to offer.

At 5 am this morning, half of our team headed to the airport in Entebbe, Uganda.  The six of us flew out at 9:05 am Uganda time, and we arrived at the Heathrow airport at about 4 pm London time.  We have an overnight layover here in London, and we are staying at a hotel near the airport.  Please pray for travelling mercies as Doug, Rebekah, Sandi, and I continue on to California tomorrow morning at 9:50 am (London time).  Breanna and Aaron leave for Minnesota at about 3 pm, and they have another layover in Chicago.  Thank you all agian for your prayers while we have been gone.

There are not too many pictures to upload from the last few days, so bare with me as I choose to skip that step. Also, I wanted to let those of you who have been checking the blog for updates on those who still remain in Uganda that we are trying to work out a way to continue sharing their progress with you.  We are not sure what we are going to do now that I have left, but I will let you know once we decide.

Have a blessed Wednesday!
